Sounds Across Oceans acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which our events stand on, the Turrbal and Jagera peoples of Meanjin, and recognise their continuing connection to the land and waterways.
BrisAsia Dance is amongst Queensland’s largest street dance events, bringing talent across Australia and Asia together for 2 days of exhilarating dance battles and cross-cultural exchange. Featuring Australia’s finest freestyle dancers in Hip Hop, Popping, Locking, Waacking, House, Krump and more – all competing for cash prizes and a coveted Wildcard Qualification for the acclaimed Radikal Forze Jam in Vietnam.
Day 1
Day 1 on February 17th will include a full day of qualification dance battles, selecting finalists across 3 categories: Hip Hop, Popping and Open Styles.
Day 2
Day 2 on February 18th will see the top 8 competitors in each category battle it out in Queen Street Mall.
Both days are open to spectators – come experience Queensland’s street dance scene in full effect!
